As managing principal of Bigwidesky, Mary Ann’s responsibilities can vary on a minute-to-minute basis from process to practice to people – and right back again. In addition to playing a key leadership role on the agency management team, Mary Ann is a three-time Emmy® nominated writer, creative director and brand messaging expert. She helps brands identify and articulate their true purpose and then leads the Bigwidesky team in expressing the unique characteristics that make each brand human.
For the past 20+ years, Mary Ann has led branding, advertising, marketing, social media, sales promotion and campaigns across many industries, including technology, agriculture, financial services, healthcare, construction, entertainment, environmental and non-profit. Special projects include the successful launch of St. Louis’s newest hospital constructed with design principles set forth by global innovation firm, IDEO. And, working in tandem with world-renowned Olson Zaltman Associates ZMET® research methodology, she helped one of the nation’s largest credit unions implement a program to encourage low-income households to become smarter savers.
